We warmly invite everyone to join us for our Warm Welcome lunches, which begin at 12.00 noon. These follow our 10.30 am Holy Communion service and the refreshments afterwards but are open to everyone. There is no need to book in advance – all are welcome to come along and enjoy a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
The lunch menu typically features a light selection such as soup and a roll, jacket potatoes, or cheese toasties. There is also often bread served with cheese, pâté, and salad, all followed by a tempting array of cakes. The focus is on providing simple, wholesome food and a welcoming space for conversation and community.
During the winter months, these lunches are part of Deal Town Council’s Warm Welcome initiative, offering a cosy setting for all who wish to attend. The lunches continue throughout the rest of the year, fostering a sense of connection and belonging within the community.
On the third Wednesday of every month, in addition to lunch, there is a drop-in session organised by Sandwich Age Concern. This provides an opportunity for those facing the challenges of dementia and ageing, as well as their families and carers, to access professional support and advice in an informal, supportive environment.
