Worship
At St George's our vision is “To release ourselves and the people of St George’s as passionate and devoted worshippers of Jesus Christ.” Our Services offer a range of new and traditional worship styles. Music has always been an important way that God has enabled us to express our devotion with both our minds and our hearts.
Worship means to ‘give worth’ to something.
As a Church we want to express that worship to Jesus is the way that we live throughout the week but also as we gather together each Sunday. As music has developed over generations so has the way we lead our sung worship and our worship bands are made up of guitars, keyboards, bass, drums and other instruments too. As we sing together, we long to create space for people to engage with God and we believe that as we encounter with Him we are positively changed.
We're always looking for new people to join our worship team and if you are a gifted musician, singer, or have skills in sound or computer operating then we would love to hear from you!
