Covid 19 update

In-person gatherings are suspended,
but that doesn’t mean that church is suspended!
Church is a people that God is building,
not a building people meet God in.

Life has undergone a paradigm shift over the last few weeks. In these stormy times it’s even more vital to consider and remember the Rock on which we stand, the firm foundation, Jesus Christ Himself.

In practical terms, online meetings are happening throughout the week to catch up with one another, share together, read the Bible together and pray together.  We are also organising a similar connection for Emerge and Pulse Youth.  Do get in touch if you’re part of St. George’s and would like to be part of that.  We are also keeping a list of those self-isolating and those offering help.

At 10.30am on Sunday morning, we will be live streaming our worship led by just a very few of us in our own homes.  Anyone is free to join us online f or that and we will post further details when we have them.

We will be sending out and posting children and families material this weekend too.  If you’re not yet connected with us on Facebook try to do that as we’ll be posting updates on there.
Please join us as we continue to pray for our world, our nation, our community, our families as we take one step at a time together as a church family.

Please visit our Youth pages (Pulse ages 14-18 and Emerge ages 11-14) for details on what are Young people are up to!

In the meantime please find various resources during this time here!

With our love and prayers in the name of Jesus, who is the Hope of the world,

Shiela & Chris
